Hi, I’m Bryn!

I spend most of my days chasing the light across the places that ground us. My process begins long before my brush touches my canvas; it starts in the quiet dawn of an overlook, on the edge of a soft forest, or deep within the quiet expanses of our public lands. I paint to capture the fleeting, essential, pure spirit of these places - the way the sun reflects gold off of a mountain ridge, the way the fog kisses the waters edge, or the specific hue of a sunset through the trees.

But for me, painting these landscapes is more than an aesthetic pursuit. It is an act of advocacy.

I believe that we only truly protect what we love, and we can only love what we stop to notice. By translating the beauty of our wilderness onto canvas, I hope to act as a witness to the natural world. My work is an invitation to you: to slow down, to reconnect with our wild spaces, and to recognize that these vistas are not just beautiful backdrops for our lives - they are fragile, living systems that require our stewardship.

When you bring a piece of my work into your home, you aren’t just acquiring a painting or collector’s piece. You are bringing the soul of the wilderness indoors and joining a mission to ensure these landscapes remain protected for generations to come.

Thanks for joining me on this journey. Let’s keep the wild, wild.

From trail to canvas.

For the love of wild places.

What am I up to outside of the art world . . . . ?

  • Usually you can find me hiking or exploring new places with my dog, camping, gardening, or finding something to do with friends & fam.

  • Anything Noah Kahan or Hazlett right now.

If you’re curious as to what I listen to when I paint you can find my Spotify playlist here.

  • I’ve been really big into non-fiction environmental or biology books lately but I do also generally read fiction as well. Lately I’ve been switching between The Overstory by Richard Powers and A Life on Our Planet by David Attenborough.

I’m also an active subscriber to National Geographic!
